Q): Is acupuncture painful?
A): ”No, it really isn’t. However, there is typically a sensation felt when the needles are inserted. In fact, this sensation can be felt even when the needles are placed outside the body. It is referred to as the ‘Qi’ (chee) sensation. It will feel heavy, achy, tingly, or like a gentle pressure.”
